Dear Parents,
We have arrived at the beautiful month of May, a time that is traditionally reserved to honor Mary, Mother of God. STM students will celebrate this month with participation in the annual May procession. We will gather as a school on Monday, May 7th at 9am on the school parking lot and process to the Cathedral. All students including the PreK will join in prayer to say the Rosary. Please consider joining us for this beautiful event.
This Saturday, the STM second grade students will celebrate their First Holy Communion at 11:00am Mass. This special day is the culmination of many weeks of study and practice. We are so happy for these students and we ask that you remember them, their teachers, and our clergy in your prayers.

PIZZA THIS FRIDAY, MAY 4, FOR ALL STUDENTS WHO SUBSCRIBED
This Friday Pizza Lunch supports 3rd Grade!
Pizza and Market Table volunteers are needed in the school cafeteria from 10:45am-1:15pm. You must be VIRTUS-compliant to volunteer. Come for the entire time or just for an hour.
Market Table
Appropriate items and some favorites are individually bagged popcorn, fruit snacks, chips, pretzels, cheese puffs or Jell-O and small items like bubbles, novelty pens, stickers, and mini-notepads.
Please do not send in cookies or nut products. Do not send in latex items such as balloons or any item made with latex.
For every $15 spent you earn 1 volunteer hour.

STM CYO DINNER
Come out and support the
STM CYO!
The CYO banquet is this Saturday, May 5th. The banquet will begin after the 5:30 Mass in Burke Hall and end by 9pm. All of the STM teams and sports will be recognized and coaches will give a brief review of their seasons. If you have not done so already, please RSVP to your coach or email

and include the number of attendees from your family.
There is no charge for the event. However, we ask that you make small a donation to the CYO at the event. If you are in need of service hours, we would welcome the help for set up and clean up after the event. Please email

if you can help. Set-up will start at 3:30pm.

PRE-HSPT OPPORTUNITY
Bishop O'Connell High School is offering 7th graders the chance to take a practice High School Placement Test, or Pre-HSPT, on Saturday,
May 19, 2018. The test takes place from
9:00am to noon. The cost is $45 per student. Seats are llimited and pre-registration is required. Students will receive a copy of their score report in June. Please click the following link to register:
