JUNIOR ROOM EVENTS
We are having a Peep Diorama Contest! Make your diorama at home, include at least one Peep, and then bring it to be displayed in the library. Dioramas are due on April 8th before 5:30 p.m. Public voting is April 9th through April 20th. The winners will be announced April 22nd and will receive a prize! (There are two age categories for the contest: ages 14 and under and ages 15 and up).
 
Tuesday, April 9, 16, 23, 30 at 10:30 a.m. Rhythm and Rhyme. Sing-alongs, finger plays, puppets and more! For kids ages 0-3 with a caregiver. No registration necessary. Not a drop off.  

Thursday, April 4, 11, 18, 25 at 12:30 p.m. Lunch Bunch in the Junior Room. Bring along a picnic lunch and enjoy stories and a craft. All ages. No registration necessary. Not a drop off.
 
Wednesday, April 3 at 1:30 p.m. Movie Matinee. Mary Poppins Returns (PG) All ages. It's an early dismissal for teacher conferences so we're showing this hot new release. Parents who have KCS Parent/Teacher conferences may leave their children in the care of the Children's librarians with prior notification. You must register with the time of your conferences. Monday, April 8 at 5:30 p.m. Peep Dioramas Due! All Ages. All Peep Dioramas for our Peep-O-Rama contest are due by the end of the day! Judging starts April 9th, so all entries must be received before then. Good Luck!

This 1-hour workshop will include breathing techniques, exercises for developing non-judgmental awareness and an introduction to how Yoga, Ayurveda, and Bach Flowers can support us in moving out of unhealthy holding patterns into more creative solutions for our health and wellness. It will not include yoga postures. 2019 Car Raffle. The Kent Memorial Library has chosen a 2000 Porsche Boxster Roadster as this year's annual fund raising raffle car. This arena red with Savanna beige leather interior has very low mileage. Tickets are $20. Raffle tickets are being sold in the Library and during the annual Library Book Sale. The car will be parked in front of the Library. The winning ticket will be drawn on at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 27 at the conclusion of the 43rd Annual Kent Pumpkin Run. Information is available on the Library's website. Ticket holders need not be present to win.

as you can turn a page! The book sale committee is always looking  
for volunteers. Any and all levels of involvement are welcome.  
Infrastructure roll out and organizational meetings begin in early  
April, and then the Book Sale officially opens Memorial Day Weekend
and runs through the fall.
