Designing Colorful Island Beds in the Garden

Thinking about reducing the size of your lawn and putting in more plants? In the latest issue of the Arboretum Bulletin, Portland-based garden writer Barbara Ashmun describes how she created beautiful "island beds" in her backyard filled with eye-popping summer- and fall-booming perennials.

Be a Tax-Smart Donor!

Making a gift to the Foundation from your IRA is a tax-wise way to support the Arboretum. If you are 70½ or older, you can make a tax-free charitable distribution - sometimes called an "IRA rollover" gift - directly from your IRA. It just takes a few simple steps to make this tax-savvy donation happen. To find out more, click below to visit our website or email Lee Benner ,  our Development Director.
