Supporting Early Childhood Development
Young children are sponges for learning. From birth to age five, they're making giant developmental strides, more than at any other time in life. In this critical window, education is the key to unlocking their potential. Our goal is to surround kids with learning opportunities wherever they are. Young children who are given the right support and stimulation arrive at school excited to learn and ready to thrive—academically, emotionally and socially.
The Head Start program promotes school readiness of children from low-income families by supporting children's growth and development in a positive learning environment through a variety of services, which include; early learning, health, and family well-being.
