I know you hear me say all the time just how much I love spring - well I love May just that much more :) Spring is turning into summer, kids are winding up the school year, there's Mother's Day, Memorial Day and mine and my sisters birthdays - all kinds of change and reasons to be with friends and outside! locations from 11am-2pm and enjoy not only great deals with the

Memorial Day
Memorial Day (originally Decoration Day) was established by Major General John A. Logan three years after the Civil War had ended. Gen. Logan's order for his posts in 1868 was to decorate graves of fallen soldiers "with the choicest flowers of springtime... We should guard their graves with sacred vigilance. ... Let pleasant paths invite the coming and going of reverent visitors and fond mourners. Let no neglect, no ravages of time, testify to the present or to the coming generations that we have forgotten as a people the cost of a free and undivided republic."
Today, as you know, Americans celebrate Memorial Day in a variety of ways by visiting cemeteries or memorials, watching parades and holding family gatherings. Whatever you will be doing this upcoming Memorial Day weekend, we hope you enjoy and please take time to remember our military members.
