The actual date will be announced closer to arrival time. We want to welcome him with a week's worth of meals, folks willing to move boxes and light furnishings from the truck, and people willing to unpack.

Security Task Force Presents...
On Sunday, January 12 after church and coffee, we will have an excellent guest presenter talking about emergency preparedness, which we need as a congregation, community, family and individuals. Our speaker will be  Jim Fisher, Town Manager of Deer Isle  and former public planner with Hancock County Planning Commission. What are the kinds of emergencies we face (most commonly weather-related) and how do we plan for them? What are the local emergency management systems and gaps? What can you do in an emergency? These are a few of the questions that Jim will address. His presentation will be followed by Q&A and conversation. We hope you join us!

Thank you, Mary Hartley, for making two trips to Portland, loaded-down with coats and jackets from St. Francis by the Sea for migrants experiencing their first cold winter!

Mary was planning to spend the night but was so jammed with coats that she couldn't get her suitcase in the car!
