Free fun for all ages!  Mix and mingle with local comic enthusiasts, artists, and writers.  Get creative at the face painting, crazy hair styling, craft, and DIY comic flair stations.  Show off your costume for the chance to win prizes!!

Special guests include: Western Slope Ghostbusters, creators of the podcast Comic Talk616, costume Shadowfall Workshop, and members of the Star Wars Alpine Garrison.

We are going to have an amazing time celebrating fandom and all things comic con!

History in Your Attic

During Regular Library Hours 

Scan your family records for free!  All are welcome to bring historic (pre-1950s) primary source materials from Moab and surrounding areas and have them digitized.  Materials may include: letters, photographs, sketches, diaries, negatives, hand-drawn maps, slides, memoirs, or unpublished family histories. 

Digitized materials will be made available on Brigham Young University Library's History in Your Attic Digital Collection, the Mountain West Digital Library, and the Digital Public Library of America.  You keep your materials, and digital copies will be sent to you on a CD after the scanning event.

Sponsored by the Utah Academic Library Consortium and Mountain West Digital Library.  Presented in partnership with Brigham Young University's L. Tom Perry Special Collections. 
Community Ping Pong

Stop by the Castle Valley Library on Wednesday afternoons for some ping pong excitement!  Board games, checkers, chess, and jigsaw puzzles are also available in the library during ping pong afternoons.
