Dear St. Francis of Assisi School Parents and Guardians,

Last Saturday, St. Francis of Assisi School hosted our Annual Gala fundraising event.  Our community came together beautifully to celebrate the school and the great work that is done here.  Much gratitude and appreciation goes out to Michelle Manzella and her amazing Auction Committee team of parents who spent countless hours planning, wrapping, soliciting vendors, decorating, and supporting this event.  It is evident just how passionate our parents are for this school through their dedication and commitment for the Gala. The staff and faculty of our school also supported this event by donating time for silent auction items and also by volunteering the night of the event.

One of the most touching parts of the evening was the Fund An Item, which focused on supporting the great work of Mr. Rodriguez.  The students fondly call him "the boss" and everyone on campus recognizes just how valuable he is to our community. He has saved our school so much money through the years with his "MacGyver" ability to fix anything on campus. The attendees gave him a standing ovation when the was played, which was a beautiful testimony from the students on how he has changed their lives. It is so moving to witness this community come together in support of something and someone they believe in. Together we are stronger!

As we mentioned on Saturday, the additional funds will be used to replace our 20-year old air conditioning classroom units.  We are starting with the units that require the most repair and will continue to replace as funds are available. If you were unable to attend the event and would still like to support either Mr. Rodriguez's project or the air conditioning units, no amount is too small.  Please reach out to myself or our Business Office and we would be happy to talk with you further. I will update you soon on our fundraising totals and look forward to sharing the fruits of this amazing Gala.

Blessings,

Jeannette Lambert                                         Tom Waszak
