The Bay Aquatic Park Opens
Broomfield's  outdoor water park   is scheduled to open on Saturday, May 26, 2018. It is  designed for children ages 1 to 12 years old and features a large pool, tot pool, body slide, tube slides, spray ground, picnic areas, and is ADA accessible. View video. inventHQ - Now Open!
Broomfield's new makerspace is an all ages collaborative workshop dedicated to hands-on making and community learning. Located on the second floor of the newly remodeled  6 Garden Center, the space includes 3D printers, sewing/ embroidery machines, small board electronics and more! Small Business Series
Sign up for business classes from experts in the field. Topics include Building a Website, Search Engine Optimization, and Quickbook Basics. Classes held at the Broomfield Library. Registration required.
Broomfield Trail Adventure/Broomfield 100
Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 8 a.m. featuring Legacy Park, Quail Creek, and Mckay Lake. The  Broomfield Trail Adventure  will have both a walking loop and biking loop. This is also the start of  The Broomfield 100 which is an opportunity to explore the beauty and diversity of nature in your own backyard. Share the wonders of the great outdoors with your children, have fun, win prizes, and be healthy at the same time!

Saturday, June 2 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. This educational program, presented by the 17th Judicial District, provides information on elder law topics for senior citizens, family, caregivers, and service providers. Read more...

Call-N-Ride Free Fare Summer
Need a ride in Broomfield? Thanks to a grant from DRCOG, the Call-N-Ride fare is free for the months of June, July, and August. Any age, Anyone, Any Ability - Call-N-Ride is for Everyone!  Call 303.434.8989 or book online at Broomfield.org/callnride.


Broomfield Youth Recognition Awards
The event was held on Tuesday, April 10. This program provides business, community, and civic leaders an opportunity to actively demonstrate their belief in and support for the young people in the community. The BYRA program honored five recipients from each ward and acknowledged these youth who, despite adversity, achieved positive change in their lives.  View video.
