From Our Principal
Lenten Reflection: “Through the Decalogue he [God] prepared man for friendship with himself and for harmony with his neighbor. This was to man’s advantage, though God needed nothing from man. This raised man to glory, for it gave him what he did not have, friendship with God. But it brought no advantage to God, for God did not need man’s love. Man did not possess the glory of God, nor could he attain it by any other means than through obedience to God. This is why Moses said to the people: Choose life, that you may live and your descendants too; love the Lord your God, hear his voice and hold fast to him, for this is life for you and length of days.

Fun in ASE!
Ms. Kimberly and her staff at ASE have a great calendar of activities each month. Last Friday the students had fun going to Carytown and getting ice cream at Bev's. They've also had special guests in to help them learn about the science behind baking pretzels and Ms. Bailey taught students about the uniqueness of fingerprints and about her work as a medical examiner.

So, here's our AUCTION DONATION FORM to use....SIMPLY:
1)Fill out the form;
2) Have the donor SIGN the document;
3) Take a picture of the entire form with your phone.
4) Leave the form with the donor for their tax records.
5) Email the picture to Gretchen Ridgely at cgridgely@gmail.com.

Forget the form? OK - just be sure to email Gretchen what you've secured and drop the item (gift certificate, gift bag, etc.) off at the front desk at school.

Meet Me at the Matinee: The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940
Saturday, April 6
12 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Open to students, grades 6–8.

Get a behind-the-scenes look at our spring play “The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940.” Join us for a pre-show lunch where you’ll meet the talented cast and crew, and even pick up a few theatre tips and tricks. Then, stay for the afternoon performance.
"The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940" is a play about a creative team responsible for a recent Broadway flop that assemble for a backer's audition of their new show at the Westchester estate of a wealthy investor. The house is replete with sliding panels, secret passageways and a German maid who is apparently four different people - all of which figure diabolically in the comic mayhem that follows when the infamous slasher makes his reappearance and strikes again.
