Donations given in honor of Cats' Corner during 'Match Madness' reach almost $3,500
Cat's Corner on campus received an extra boost last week when it was gifted close to $3,500 from generous donors during "Match Madness," an initiative of the Greater Salina Community Foundation. On March 21, people could donate online or in person at the Salina Fieldhouse to various Salina charities and businesses. Those that gave to K-State Polytechnic were directly helping Cats' Corner, which provides students extra support of food, hygiene items, and professional clothing when needed. Because of all of the donations the campus received, it earned the Greater Salina Community Foundation's Most Improved Award, which is given to the organization with the largest increase in the number of donors from last year to this year.
For counseling services, students have the choice of visiting on campus with one of our counseling Ph.D. students or they may seek professional counseling from one of our off-campus community partners.
