Beth Israel wants to hear from YOU, it's TRIBE! Members of Beth Israel are invited to participate in a Self Study to establish goals and parameters for the search for Beth Israel's next senior rabbi. Rabbi Michael Berk announced he will retire in June 2019 and we look forward to bestowing on Rabbi Berk the esteemed lifetime honor of Rabbi Emeritus.
As part of the process to begin the senior rabbi search, starting in the Fall, Beth Israel wants to hear your input on what matters most to you as far as community, programming and vision and leadership. Your participation in the Self Study is critical to our success. We invite each member to fill in the
Member Survey by Feb. 22, 2018.
Also, some of you have mentioned you'd love to learn Torah together. Two ways - 1. Here's my drash from last week on ways to keep our heart soft. I'd love to hear your thoughts. 2. Join me at Torah study on Feb. 17th. It's an amazing cross-section of our congregation. Bagels to boot.
