City of Birmingham, MI
Old Woodward Reconstruction Project Update - 4/30/18
As of 4 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2018, there will be no planned water shut offs on Tuesday, May 1, 2018.

Starting Wednesday, May 2, 2018, there will be intermittent water shutoffs occurring in two-hour periods, and more detailed information regarding which buildings will be affected will be communicated to businesses on Tuesday. These planned water shut offs are only impacting buildings north of Maple Road.

The two-hour shutdown of water service is needed to make the switch from the old water system to the new system. The City appreciates your patience and understanding as it makes this necessary switch to the new water main system, part of the improvements that will enhance the underground infrastructure for years to come. The project is about 20% completed.
