|
Next Tuesday, May 1 is the last day to purchase your Miraloma Elementary School yearbook -- and what a year it has been! This year, please
order directly online through TreeRing. Here are a few reasons we chose TreeRing:
- TreeRing plants a tree in our school's name when you purchase a book.
- All yearbooks are gorgeously printed in full color on recycled paper.
- Ease of purchasing online or via iPhone/Android apps
PLEASE NOTE:
- Sign up your student to make an account on TreeRing.
- Your yearbook only costs $24.00.
If you would like to donate a yearbook to staff, please create a separate student, named "Donate Yearbook" and add as another student to your purchase list.

SFUSD has extended the deadline to this Friday, April 27. There will be no further extensions.
It is is very important for someone from each family to complete this survey!
More details:
- The Culture and Climate Survey is part of SFUSD's accountability system and is one metric used to evaluate our school.
- Parents with multiple children at Miraloma should fill out one survey for each child. If you have children in another SFUSD school, you should fill out a survey at that school as well.
- It is very important that we get as many of our families to respond as possible so that we have data that truly represents the whole school and not just a few people. Everyone's voice is important!
- The survey is available online and is translated into Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Tagalog, and Arabic.
- The survey will not be used in staff or teacher evaluations.
- This survey will be anonymous. We will track how many families have completed the survey, but we will not know what any individual says on any question.
Thank you to everyone for helping to promote survey completion!

Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate Spring Festival on Sunday! Our deepest thanks go to our rock star volunteers, without whom we couldn't do it. Special thanks to Harini, Maya, Graham, Laney, Mary, Sarah, Jae, Dan, Kelly and Mark. Unending thanks to our fantastic Dad's Grill - Juan, Dirk, and Sadie, as well as to the bake sale crew - headed by Christy. This year, a number of Miraloma students-current and alumni-also stepped up to help. We absolutely relied on: Isaac, Otto, Jamieson, Gabe, Sofia, Emi, and Keo. Awad and Sahar donated delicious pizzas from Hole In the Wall Pizza. Our community is stronger together.
Well done!
