Royse City Education Foundation
The Royse City ISD Education Foundation is a nonprofit tax exempt 501(c)(3) philanthropic organizations of citizens which shares a vision to enhance education in the Royse City public schools. The Board of Directors is made up of community, business and educational leaders. 
 
The mission of the Royse City ISD Education Foundation is to generate and distribute resources to the Royse City ISD to enrich teaching, inspire learning and advance innovative and creative programs needed to meet the District's stated mission of excellence in education. One goal is to build community awareness for the RCISD Education Foundation. In doing that they have done an exceptional job through their volunteers the last few months of communicating through social media, speaking engagements, small get togethers in homes and businesses in Royse City, signage and out pounding the pavement to let us all know of the vote on May 5 th  “Vote Yes! Quality Schools with No New Taxes”. The $60 million bond to manage the growing school district of RCISD. The bond will be able to accommodate the over 4300 children that are expected to join the ISD in the next 10 years. For more information please visit: https://www.rcisd.org/bond2018/  and remember to vote, Saturday, May 5 th !

RECENT PLAQUE PRESENTATIONS AND RIBBON CUTTINGS
Royse City Masonic Lodge #663 on 4-5-18. The Masons have been in Royse City since 1888. They meet monthly at 124 Arch Street and have since 1925. 
Dr. Benjamin Morgan of Rockwall Pediatric Dentistry and his staff have been members of the Chamber since 2016 but realized they never got their plaque so we made sure they received it by personally delivering it!! If you have children you must check them out, wonderful staff, TV's on the ceilings for the kids and even a prize wall!!
Impression Homes, 4-12-18, Impression Homes have joined the Stone River Estates in Royse City that range from $260-350k overlooking the beautiful golf course!
History Maker Homes on 4-26-18. They are part of the Waterscape Development on S. 548. Homes starting at 203K.  They are the oldest developer in the DFW area, they are 4 th generation family owned and operated and Christian based company.
AMBASSADOR SPOTLIGHT
Ashlee Wilburn, Cardinal Financial

Ashlee Wilburn has been providing financial services and advice to clients since 2008. She has worked in variety of positions including personal and business banking, as a financial adviser and a mortgage loan originator. Her passion for helping people is what led her to a career in the mortgage industry. In 2017 Ashlee moved her business to Rockwall County & joined the Royse City Chamber. When she is not helping clients achieve the goal of home ownership, she loves spending time with her husband, Andy of 10 years and their daughter Brooklyn (4). The Wilburn family is active in their home church Life Spring and enjoy Friday Night Lights in Royse City. "GO BULLDOGS"!
BOARD MEMBER SPOTLIGHT
Erin Kincaid, Higher Hopes Counseling

Erin Kincaid is the owner and lead counselor at Higher Hopes Counseling, a biblically-based Christian counseling center. She has served the mental health industry for over twelve years as it is her passion to see healthy individuals and families thrive in life. Erin spent seven years serving on the mission field with her husband, William, in former East Germany. Upon returning to the U.S., they have proudly made their home in Royse City for the last twelve years where they've raised their son, Taylor. Erin's interests include writing and podcasting and she is the author of the teen dating violence prevention and anti-bullying curriculum We Expect Respect which is used in schools throughout Texas to help teens and kids have healthy relationships. Erin hosts a regular podcast show called "Life Lessons" and recently finished her first children's book, Rock Me Right,   aimed at helping young children understand and process their emotions to aid them in mental health skills later in life. Erin is a regular contributor to national homeschool and mental health publications as well as contributed as the healthy relationship columnist for D Magazine/D Weddings, Lakeside Living, Living Magazine, and Suburban Style Magazine.
