Watches & Wonders 2019
February 15 - 17

After a hugely successful debut that attracted over 20,000 attendees in 2018, Watches & Wonders Miami returns from February 15th to 17th, 2019. The event expands from 21 to 28 brands showing their creations at this second edition, which is again led by the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie in partnership with the Miami Design District. Visitors to Watches & Wonders Miami are invited to discover the expertise behind the fabulous timepieces and jewelry on display, through a packed program of activities together with roundtable discussions, watchmaking workshops and tours of participating brands’ stores.

Surfside Bootcamp & Brews

Fitness buffs looking to pick up the pace while also mingling with the locals can join Surfside’s first ever Bootcamp & Brews event, which will be held January 17 and February 7, 2019. Art Deco Weekend
January 18-20
Lummus Park, Miami Beach, FL

The longest running free community cultural festival is Miami Beach,  The Miami Design Preservation League’s Art Deco Weekend  celebrates Miami’s unique architecture, design, history, art and culture. Browse vintage art and photography, catch a fashion show or listen to live music. This free, three-day outdoor festival takes place at Lummas Park on 11th Street and Ocean Drive, and feature more than 85 individual events. Highlights include the Bark Deco Dog Show, Retro Fashion Show, Classic Car Show, Deco Kids Club, plus loads of live entertainment, lectures and guided tours.
Homestead Rodeo Championship
January 18-20
Homestead, FL

Calling all cowboys and cowgirls! The  Homestead Championship Rodeo  is sure to be a weekend full of fun for the whole family, including the crowning of the Homestead Rodeo Queen and a free parade in downtown Homestead. This is the 70th edition of the annual Homestead Championship Rodeo, an event officially sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.

Admission is $20 for adults and $5 for kids and tickets are available at the door.
Miami Antique, Design & Art Show

Head to the Miami Airport Convention Center for the annual  Miami Antiques, Art & Design Show , featuring more than 100 exhibitors and antique art dealers offering antiques and vintage decorative arts. Exhibitors will showcase works representing design movements from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries, as well as vintage 20th century modern. General admission tickets start at $15.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade

Celebrate history with great fanfare and marching bands at the  Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Parade  in Liberty City. The parade takes place at 11 a.m. along NW 54th Street on a route from NW 12th Avenue to NW 32nd Avenue and ends with a celebration at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Park.
International Chocolate Festival
January 25 - 27
Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden

Forget those New Year’s resolutions just for this one chocolate-filled weekend. Unleash your sweet tooth at the 13th Annual  Chocolate Festival at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden . Enjoy chocolate treats and watch cooking demonstrations. You can even learn how to grow and take care of your own cacao tree. Tickets start at $25 for adults and $12 for kids. Children 5 and under are free.
Fine Arts Festival at Pinecrest Gardens

Featuring more than 200 fine art and craft vendors, the annual  Coral Gables Festival of the Arts  is the perfect opportunity to explore the City Beautiful during one of the most beautiful times of the year in Miami. U.S. Sailing’s premier event, the  World Cup Series Miami  is one stop on sailing’s World Cup Series tour.
