Dallastown Area Communities That Care
TONIGHT
 CTC Logo
Wacky Obstacle Courses, Furious Floor Hockey, and Musical Chair Mayhem are just three of the many events that will pit students and staff in fierce, but friendly, competition during the Battle of the Buildings 2018, a Dallastown Area Communities That Care fundraiser being held tonight, Friday, April 27th, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Dallastown Area
High School gymnasium.
  
Tickets will be sold at the door. Admission is $5.00 for adults, $2.00 for students, and 5 years and under are free. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Tasty eats and beverages will be on sale at the concession stand.

For 21 years, Dallastown Area Communities That Care has been making a fundamental difference in the lives of our youth through its support of district programs, including Big Buddies and SEALS, and funding of two scholarships for high school mentors.
DAEF Give Local York
 
Dallastown Area Educational Foundation invites you to Give Where You Live on Friday, May 4th, as we join more than 200 local non-profits, in this first ever 24-hour online giving event.

Give Local York unites donors, businesses, and organizations in giving back to the communities where we live, work, and play, inspiring York Countians to come together, show pride in their community, and contribute to support the life-changing work of local nonprofits.

AP Exams

Advanced Placement (AP) exams will be administered at Dallastown Area High School during the weeks of May 7th and May 14th. Students are encouraged to sign up for review sessions with their AP teachers during Wildcat Periods. In addition, students have access to AP Review Software through an interactive online review tool called: Albert.
Aspiring to Understand Other Cultures Since 2008 Art & Cultural Fair

Experience the cultural diversity of the Dallastown community during Dallastown Area Middle School's 10th Annual Festival of Art and Culture being held Thursday,
May 17th, at the middle school.

Enjoy cultural performances in the auditorium from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Following those performances, food and the cultural booths will be available from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Hosted annually by the middle school World Language and Art Departments, and the middle school International Club, this year's theme is Aspiring to Understand Other Cultures Since 2008. Begin the evening with entertainment and then sample food from over 60 countries around the world, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts from the native countries of Dallastown students.

Let's Gogh Paint!

Join us at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 17th, when the Dallastown Area Educational Foundation hosts Family Paint Night.

Held at Dallastown Area Intermediate School, doors open at 6:30 p.m. (enter through cafeteria doors). Participants must be 12 years or older. Price includes canvas and all paint supplies. Painting experience is not required.

Concessions will be sold to benefit the 2018 Dallastown Area High School Senior Class.

2018-19 District Budget  

The Dallastown Area School District 2018-19 Preliminary Proposed Budget was presented to the Board of School Directors at its most recent meeting. To view, access:   2018-19 Preliminary Proposed Budget (PowerPoint) and 2018-19 Preliminary Proposed Budget (Budget Book).
 
Dallastown Area School District staff and community members are invited to review and provide comment on the Proposed Budget by accessing the Budget Feedback Form.
DFSC to Award Scholarships   

The Dallastown Foundation Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce that nearly $83,247 in scholarships will be presented to 54 graduating seniors during its awards ceremony being held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 24th, in the high school auditorium.   
PMEA State Music Conference

Dallastown Area High School musicians recently attended the PMEA 2018 State Music Conference held in Lancaster, PA.

Attending were: Ryan Shuey, Trombone, All-State Wind Ensemble; Joel Staub, Violin, All-State Orchestra; Olivia Myers, Cello, All-State Orchestra; Eva Wolfe, Oboe, All-State Orchestra; and, Michael Raucci, Bari Sax, All-Wind Ensemble.
