Multiple Language Translations of IFNA Website Are Available
Did you know that the IFNA website can automatically be translated into more than 18 languages? Look for the Google Translate Button on the top left and bottom left corner of each page of the IFNA website and scroll down to choose your desired language.
Current IFNA Membership is 352 members from 31 countries.
Alexandra Hodson (Canada) is an undergraduate instructor at the University of Regina Faculty of Nursing. Her graduate research focused on the experience of family caregiving for individuals with advanced heart failure. She currently serves on the Saskatchewan Council of Aging Caregiver Committee where she develops and leads programming that assists families experiencing the strain of caregiving. [Read more]
Dr. Paula Nersesian (USA) recently joined the faculty at theJohn Hopkins School of Nursing where she conducts research on the psychosocial determinants of health. With her interest in social media, she will serve as the IFNA Research Committee liaison to the IFNA Communications Committeeand will help generate research news from IFNA members. New Research Resource: Data Analysis in Family Research. PPT files from previous IFNC presentations have generously been made available to IFNA members by

IFNA Conference Committee co-chairs,

Dr. Sonja Meiers (USA), report that planning is well underway for IFNC14. The local Planning Committee, led so ably by
Dr. Pam Hinds (USA), is at work to organize plans on the ground in Washington D.C. The IFNA Conference Committee are in the process of selecting and inviting keynote speakers. Watch for upcoming announcements of keynote speakers and calls for abstracts, pre-conference workshops, and expert lectures.
The IFNC14 Call for Abstracts will begin this summer. Start thinking about an expert lecture proposal, pre-conference workshop, and/or abstract to submit. Suggestions about conference planning are welcomed and may be sent to the IFNA Conference Committee via the IFNA office/
