May 2018

Brampton 2040 Vision is here!
Back in the fall, we asked you to share your bright ideas with us. We wanted to know what you loved about Brampton – and what you would love to change. Thousands of people took the time to share their dreams with us. We took those dreams and used them to create a bold Vision for Brampton’s future.

What started out as a “Planning Vision” has become so much more. It’s a Vision about the environment, transportation, jobs, recreation, health, social issues, and arts and culture. Most importantly, it’s a Vision for the people – by the people.

Now we’re taking the next step in our journey. On Monday, May 7 at 7 pm, the Brampton 2040 Vision will be unveiled to City Council. Even if you haven’t been involved up to this point, we would love to have you join us. The journey is just beginning.
You can read the Vision online now. [more...]
