Requests for Proposals

Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) released its annual open request for proposals (RFP). In addition to a general open RFP, the Foundation has also released a special RFP for projects focused on addressing the HIV-related needs of Black gay and bisexual men and transgender people. Requests are open to any non-profit organization regardless of whether they have applied or received funding from EJAF in the past. EJAF will consider both general operating support and project-specific funding requests. Letters of Inquiry will be accepted through

The New York City Fund for Girls and Young Women of Color released its Fall 2018 Grant Guidelines. The Fund seeks applications from organizations that: are led by and for young cis- and trans women of color; advance the collective leadership of young women, transgender and gender-nonconforming (TGNC) youth of color toward broad based change; use strategies of advocacy, community organizing, and long-term active participation in community and civic life; and specifically address systemic causes of racial, gender, and economic disparities faced by young women, transgender, and gender non-conforming (TGNC) youth of color. The deadline for submitting Letters of Inquiry is noon on
June 12th, 2018.

The New York Community Foundation seeks applications for grants to support community-initiated solutions to solve local problems, constituents mobilizing for adequate and equitable resources, and groups organizing a collective voice among those whose voices have not been heard in New York City. The next deadline to submit an initial funding request is July 1st. More information and application material is available

Stonewall Community Foundation is now accepting applications for the Levin-Goffe Scholarship for LGBTQI Immigrants. The Levin-Goffe Scholarship was established to help support undocumented immigrants pursuing higher education in New York City who also identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or intersex (LGBTQI). The scholarship will help offset some of the financial burdens immigrant students may face, while investing in the future of the LGBTQI community. Applications are due by noon on Wednesday,
June 6th, 2018.

Pride Foundation's Community Grants Program invests in organizations, projects, programs, and strategies that expand opportunities and advance equity for LGBTQ communities in the Northwest. Applications will be accepted until
Friday, June 29, 2018 at 4:00pm AKST/5:00pm PST/6:00pm MST.

Stonewall Quarter Share (SQS) is a network of young donors who, through organized philanthropy and volunteer service, support LGBTQ causes throughout New York City. Each year, SQS members award one or more grants to advance programming and services that directly benefit LGBTQ New Yorkers.
