EDITOR'S TOP NEWS PICKS
>CLICK ON  HEADLINES FOR MORE INFORMATION<

"Senate Bill 50, introduced by Sen. Scott Wiener, D-San Francisco last month, would force city and county governments to automatically approve qualifying housing projects in 'transit-rich' or 'job-rich' areas. The law does not provide exemptions for cities like Pasadena, which are already generating housing at a rapid pace." - Pasadena Now

"Unlike last March's Orange Grove 'Road Diet' plan meeting, which drew overwhelming opposition, residents at Tuesday night's meeting offered mostly supportive reactions and suggestions." - Pasadena Now

"'This is a terrible story about a government out of control. It's an invading army that has come from the County of Los Angeles, and has not respected the City of Pasadena, or the residents of this area.' Thus Arroyo Seco Foundation Managing Director Tim Brick angrily described the current state of affairs with the Los Angeles County "Big Dig" sediment removal project in the Hahamongna Watershed Park at Devil's Gate Dam." - Pasadena Now
