Update Yahrzeit Information in Shul Cloud
|
If you have endured the loss of a family member and wish to be notified of the Yahrzeit please log into ShulCloud with your username and password. Once you are in your account click on the Yahrzeit Tab, 3rd tab
from the left on the top. Click Add Yahrzeit. This will take you to Create New Yahrzeit. For accuracy of the notification, it is important to know if the loved one passed away before or after sundown. You will then receive a ShulCloud generated notice by email or hard copy if no email address is on file from the Synagogue prior to the date that the Yahrzeit will be observed.
If you are unable to log in or need help to input the information into the system please contact Marsha Lustig who will be happy to help you.

Lisa Mannheim, a beloved English teacher at HOMMOCKS Middle School, is hosting a bone marrow drive on January 13 in Stamford, CT. Her only child-10 year old Emmet-has a rare blood marrow disorder. His treatments have so far been unsuccessful and he may have to undergo a bone marrow transplant. As many of your children have had Lisa as a teacher, I'm sending this to you with the hope that you could share this with your adult sons & daughters, friends, co-workers and anyone else you think might consider participating (the age group for the drive is 18-44). ** PLEASE NOTE: you do not need to attend the drive to register as a donor. You can simply register online at
http://join.bethematch
.org/MatchEM. You will be sent a swab kit that you need to send back to them. Chances are 1 in 430 that you would be called to donate your bone marrow, and if you are, it is a safe and easy process. It would mean the world to Lisa and her family. Wishing you a wonderful holiday season.
