Maria Flores, a UHC patient in Earlimart, rang in the New Year with beautiful twins born in separate years just minutes apart. Prior to her delivery, Maria received her obstetrical care by Dr. Lynous Hall, and her prenatal care from Susan Goodrich, a Comprehensive Perinatal Health worker at the Earlimart Health Center. In preparation for her delivery Maria attended the Healthy Start Program and was able to take advantage of many of the educational classes that UHC offers.  She attended parenting and nutrition classes. Maria delivered healthy twins, Joaquin minutes before the New Year and Aitana just minutes into 2018. Maria is scheduled to return back to United Health Centers in Earlimart this week where she will continue her postnatal care.
