It’s Terrific Tuesday! This week's theme is about visualizing your destiny.
As we navigate our way through this lifetime, everyone has a responsibility to seek the reason for their creation. Every being has been created with a gift, and this is usually that one thing that you would do whether you were compensated for it or not. It's the thing that you absolutely love doing and tend to do it better than those around you. It gives you joy to engage in this thing, and it gives others joy when you are able to give this gift to others. Many of us may know what our gift is, but have not quite found how to give our gift, AND still take care of responsibilities at the same time. Have you ever stopped to just visualize engaging in this gift at such a high level that you couldn't help but be compensated greatly for it?
Currency is defined as a medium of exchange, or a transmission from person to person. Most of us think of money as currency, but what about our gifts? Some of us have the gift of optimism, faith, humor, imagination, purpose, empathy, or harmony. My spiritual gift is love. Finding how to serve in the capacity of my spiritual gift as a way of life has not been an easy task. However, the first step that I took to really see, I mean really see it happening was through visualization.
Once I stopped and visualized all of my talents, gifts, and dreams, it put me in a position to really manifest from the depths of my heart because I actually saw it. You can't 'unsee' what you have seen, and you can't unlearn what you have learned. So, this week, allow yourself to visualize the desires of your heart. Ask out loud what you were created to do and believe that the Universe is speedily delivering the answer to you. Visualize.
Enjoy this week's "Article of The Week" and please feel free to share any comments, questions, or revelations that it may evoke.
“Visualize the most amazing life imaginable to you. Close your eyes and see it clearly. Then hold the vision for as long as you can. Now place the vision in God's hands and consider it done."

I hope this note finds you in peace. How did your meditations go this week? Please feel free to contact me for all your questions or feedback.
Ready to Meditate to Visualize Your Destiny?
Many of us are seeking to fulfill our purpose, but because we often times allow for ourselves to become victims of our own boundaries, we self sabotage or allow ourselves to think that the desires of our heart are unreachable. This simply isn't true.
I have had to take the challenge in my own life to take the path less traveled, many of which goes against my own upbringing. Some things that we were taught were for our own protection out of love or the protection of those that gave us these belief systems. Our own limited thinking and fixed mindsets can cause us to live a life in the box, only expecting and striving for the status quo. But, we are much more powerful than that.
The intention for this meditation is to push past those limits and truly visualize the life that was meant for you. Will you make the decision today to push pass the walls and ceilings you have developed in the past to walk into a more perfect future meant just for you? I guarantee that your purpose is tied to the life of someone else, and they are just waiting for you to make the decision to say "Yes, I am much more than what I think that I cannot do." Namaste.
“The only limits in your life are those that you set yourself.” – Celestine Chua

Peace Educators!
I just want to say "THANK YOU"!!!!!
|
|
I am in absolute awe! Let me start by thanking
Pan African Connection
for continuing to allow me to spread love and peace through these types of experiences in their space. It's so humbling and I'm incredibly grateful, so thank you always! Thank you to all of those that came out to
#woosah
with the best of intentions, they were felt, and it was so dope.
Each and everyone of you holds the power of a nation, and through your growth and persistence to finding peace, consistently evolving, and loving the way all of you do, our future (our children) are in such good hands. This was the first, but will certainly not be the last For Educators Only. In times of crisis, you have created your own definition of peace to re-energize, and only you have the secret recipe for it. Continue to shine and it was amazing to meet each and every one of you!
Special shout out to Sophia Graham for such an incredible session of yoga. To Tabitha Vivens Pruitt for referring me to Sophia because we were on the phone for over an hour during our first conversation (💜such a match💜💜). Meeting in person was just as dope as our conversation, can't wait to see what the future holds for us.
Thank you Sam Battle for the delicious vegan meal that had us all running for second plates. He even had people coming into the event just to sample a plate! This is one of your gifts, continue to serve in your purpose.
Gratitude to Angela Muhammad for your deliciously yummy bean pies that made everyone think they were eating a sweet potato pie, for being the hostess with the mostest, and for helping with setup and taking care of whatever came up! Couldn't have done it without you!
Thank you to Kesha Cotton for blessing us with your incredibly deep spoken word, the prayer to renew our relationships with ourselves, and the best infused water ever.
To Terry Thompson who always pours into me, supports me, and ensures that the energy is incredibly positive to prepare us to receive, and for helping me to clean it all up, your love means everything to me!
And to Benisha Jones Bollin who saw in me what I couldn't see in myself and keeps me constantly leveling up and going hard in my vision and purpose every single day!
I could not have done it with my tribe, I love ya'll to the moon and back. Thank you to those that wanted to be there, but weren't able to come, we will see you next time! Peace and so much love abundantly to everyone! 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛

Use Aromatherapy for Healing
Aromatherapy can also have healing properties and may be used as supportive care for some of the symptoms of specific health-related conditions. Studies have shown symptoms that have resisted other treatments over long periods of time—such as headaches, pain, and insomnia—have a positive response to the use of aroma.
Studies performed by
NYU Langone Medical Center
concluded that when specific aromas were inhaled through the nose, the symptoms of the following health-related conditions subsided:
- Headaches subsided with the use of peppermint
- Menstrual pain subsided with abdominal massage using lavender, rose, and clary sage
- Respiratory infection subsided using a vapor run containing camphor, menthol, and eucalyptus oils
Studies performed by the
University of Maryland Medical Center
concluded that when specific aromas were inhaled through the nose, the symptoms of the following health-related conditions subsided:
- Anxiety, stress, and depression subsided with the use of lavender, rose, and frankincense
- Nausea subsided with the use of peppermint
- Pain subsided with the use of chamomile
Who knew that aromas had such healing qualities for both the mind and body? Your sense of smell can help you stay connected to your fondest memories and your most relaxing moments, and it can become the key to living a healthy, balanced lifestyle full of vitality and wellness. Try not to turn your nose up at the fact that your sense of smell may be one of your biggest healing tools. Now take a deep breath and stop to smell the essential oils
