It is with great sadness that I share with the congregation news of the
passing today of Ira Lubin, beloved father of Claudia Lubin,
Lauren Zeichner, Seth Lubin and Pamela Kon. Grandfather of Rachel, David, Josh, Natan, Naomi, Elan, Megan, Noah, Talia, Isabella and Bailee. Husband of Edith.
He died peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. The funeral will be Sunday January 13 at 11:00 am, at Riverside-Nassau North Chapel, 55 North Station Plaza, Great Neck, New York. Followed by interment at Wellwood Cemetery, Pinelawn, New York. If you are a recipient of any jewelry that Ira made for you, please wear it in his honor. Here at TBE, Ira also lovingly restored the silver on our Torah scrolls once, before the High Holidays.
Shiva will be held on Sunday from 5-8 at 16 Russell Woods Rd in Great Neck and from Monday through Thursday from 6-9 at Claudia's residence, 155 Woodchuck Rd in Stamford, with services at 7 PM each evening.
May the mourners be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
