Dear Saxe Gotha Family and Friends, Jim casual 8-2014

A wonderful treat awaits our women on Sunday, April 7th at 12:30 pm! Mary King, who co-anchors Sunrise Weekday on WISTV, will be our keynote speaker for our Women's Luncheon.

Mary's message will focus on our identity in Christ. We often fall into the trap of placing our identity in our careers or the accomplishments of our children. This often leads to us trying to "keep up with the Joneses" not only in terms of net worth, but also in our own personal achievements as well as those of our spouse and children. Comparing ourselves to others can led to feelings of inferiority and defeat. However, if our identity is in Christ then we can experience inner peace and security knowing that our Lord loves us unconditionally.

I am sure that you know someone who needs to hear this important message. And, moms, your daughters need to hear what Mary has to say! Comparing oneself to others through social media is a common, unhealthy practice that is emotionally and spiritually damaging. Who will you bring to hear this wonderful message of healing and hope?

Women of All Ages are Invited! Tickets ($15 for Adults, $5 for Children) will be sold on March 24 and 31 via envelopes in the bulletin, as well as in the Welcome Center, Children's Sunday School hall and the Light House Atrium.

In Christ's love,
Pastor Jim
