Summer Program Survey Winner!
We are always striving to improve and create impacts within the communities we serve. During and after our summer programs, we collected participant and parent evaluations. Parents who completed the evaluations were entered into our drawing to receive a $50 credit towards our 2019 summer programs.  Congratulations Amy Hutchison!

Millstone 4-H Summer Camp Discount!
Summer Camp at Millstone 4-H Camp Center is June 16-21, 2019!

Millstone 4-H Camp is an ACA accredited camp that provides age appropriate, small group experiences in a safe, enjoyable environment! Campers enjoy daily activities such as swimming, canoeing, nature programs, horseback riding, target sports, climbing wall, arts and crafts, hiking, campfires, talent shows and more!

The cost of camp is $320 for youth who will be  8-14 years old next year. This fee covers transportation, lodging, meals, insurance, a camp t-shirt and money to use at the camp store; along with a lifetime of memories!

If you wish to register your child to attend Summer Camp at Millstone with Moore County 4-H, a non-refundable deposit is required by April 1st, 2019. If the camp deposit is made by February 1st, an additional $50 will be deducted from your overall cost. Scholarship opportunities will be available; however, families will still be responsible for a *$50 deposit. We will only be taking a small group to camp, so be sure to get your deposit in as soon as you can. Remaining balances and finalized paperwork will need to be completed by May 1, 2019.

*Please contact me directly if you don't have the means to pay the $50 deposit.

Teen Council Meeting
Teens are invited to attend our 4-H Teen Council meetings. The purpose of the Teen Council is to provide teens an opportunity for personal growth and development, the chance to develop leadership skills, and to increase their knowledge of 4-H outside of the club setting. During our November meeting, we will be creating 4-H painted rocks and planning a family fall event. We will provide a pizza and salad dinner! This opportunity is open to youth ages 12-18. *You do not have to be a current member of a club to participate.*

It might seem a little early to be thinking about scholarships, but now is the time to start investigating what options are out there! While the applications found on our Youth Scholarships page are from the Spring of 2018, they will most likely be similar next year.

Moore County 4-H is seeking members of the community to serve on our 4-H program advisory committee.  Members of the Moore County 4-H Youth Development Advisory Committee shall provide advice, direction, program support, visibility, and help generate resources while supporting county, state and national policies.  If you are interested in serving on this committee, please complete the application linked below.
