Principal's Message
January 26, 2018
Dear Families and Friends of OLQP:
Students are busy learning so many new things: states of matter in the STREAM lab, execution of a science fair project, geometry, algebraic functions, Spanish Missions, the Constitution of the U.S., participating in the NET retreat, using calligraphy, using Google Classroom to create tables and spreadsheets, and much more.
Staff and students are preparing for Catholic Schools Week. It is exciting to open our doors to both prospective families and current families. OLQP has students and a staff to be proud of. The dedication and hard work of the staff is evidenced by the accomplishments of our students. The participation and support of parents enable the school to accomplish great things. We look forward to celebrating with our school family and the community as we join the larger Catholic school community throughout the Archdiocese in Galveston Houston and the United States to celebrate excellence in Catholic education.
Thank you for being part of the mission and ministry of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic School.
Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam,
Mrs. Marianne Mechura, M.Ed.
Counting our Blessings...
╈  For all of our students who have continued to be resilient through all of the starts and stops of this unusual school year! It is your enthusiasm for learning that inspires us!
╈  For all of our teachers who are staying "mission focused" and working diligently to provide the very best academic program to our students while continuing to teach the whole child and form disciples of Christ.
╈  For the staff who works to support students, teachers, and families in fulfilling the mission of OLQP.
╈  For all of the families who believe in OLQP and entrust their children to our care.
╈  For all in the community who continue to support the school with time, talent, treasure, and prayer.
Thank you!
