"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.'”

Are you ready? That’s a question full of anticipation.

After months of careful planning and safeguard measures in place, Concordia IS ready, and we are happy to share that our first few weeks have been a success! Our students are back on campus learning through a combination of face-to-face with social distancing, and online through synchronous and asynchronous instruction. Masks, sanitizer, directional arrows, daily health screenings – CHECK! Even with these rigorous and necessary precautions, our Falcon spirit is soaring high.

This month’s verse from Jeremiah 29 is a well-loved and often quoted passage. The LORD has declared that He has plans for us. And the plans are good! Are you ready to follow Him? Let’s join together as alumni and lift up this new academic year in prayer as we encourage each other to rely on the LORD’s plans and seek Him with all our heart.
Thank you for keeping us safe
Thank you for helping us keep the Concordia community SAFE and HEALTHY. At the time of this writing, you (our generous donors) have covered the cost of more than 500 masks. Your support in these remarkable uncommon times is greatly appreciated. You can still get a Concordia mask and show your school pride by making a donation hereWe are all in this together. Stay Safe. Stay Healthy. God bless.

Summit proposes solutions to fix America’s healthcare
With its move to an almost-entirely online format this year due to COVID, the fourth annual Healthcare Economics Summit brought in some of the biggest speaker names in the event's history, as well as a record attendance. More than 180 people registered for the summit, which was put on by our Batterman School of Business and the Remedium eXchange Think Tank. The morning portion of this year’s event focused on “Purple Solutions to Fixing Healthcare in America”—a nod to the election year. The title was inspired by Concordia Business Dean Dr. Daniel Sem’s recently launched book, “Purple Solutions: A Bipartisan Roadmap to Better Healthcare in America.” Click here to read more.
