The DISCA Board voted to join the Signatory Wall and Ceiling Contractors Alliance (SWACCA) in 2017. SWACCA was incorporated by signatory wall and ceiling contractors to protect and grow the market share of signatory contractors, while promoting and enhancing the wall and ceiling industry.
A key focus of SWACCA is in government affairs, and they have retained a very respected government relations firm, Siff & Associates, to represent them.
SWACCA is deeply involved in multiemployer pension reform, and is working hard to obtain passage of the Giving Retirement Options to Workers (GROW) Act. A synopsis of the bill is contained in the sample letter below.

GROW Act - Submitting A Letter Of Support To Your Member of Congress
- Visit your congress member's website to determine guidelines for submitting a letter to his/her office, and note that letters can often be submitted via the website through a form.

It is recommended that you submit your letter via the suggested channels on the member's website, as physical mail is often extremely delayed in delivery due to strict security guidelines instituted by the U.S. House and Senate.
