Congratulations to the Rev. Jane White-Hassler and the people of St. James', Old Town, as they celebrated their new ministry together on April 22.
In other congregations across the Maine, we celebrate new beginnings as well: the Rev. Jud Pealer will join the people of St. Michael's, Auburn, as their priest-in-charge, and the Rev. Regina Knox joined the people of All Saints, Skowhegan, earlier this year.

Prayers for...
the family of the Rev. Joan Preble, long-time deacon at St. Dunstan's, Ellsworth, who died on April 13.
A liturgy of remembrance and celebration will be held at St. Dunstan's on Saturday, May 5, at 2 p.m. Clergy are invited to process. White stoles, please.

St. Paul's, Brunswick, seeks a full-time assistant priest
We are seeking a full-time energetic and innovative organizer priest who will:
- Develop meaningful relationships with our children, youth, their parents, and their extended families, leading them into a deeper relationship with God, one another, and into service in the world.
- Build programs to integrate children and youth into the ministries of St. Paul's, educating and empowering them for discipleship.
- Recruit and train adult leaders to form our children and youth in our faith tradition, grounded in the Baptismal Covenant.
- Experienced with digital tools and use existing and emerging technologies to connect with youth, their families, the wider parish, the Episcopal Church, and the greater Brunswick community.
- Collaborate with the rector, celebrate the Family Worship Eucharist and develop innovative liturgy that will be accessible to all worshipers.
St. Paul's is excited to be living into a radical welcome for all and looks to reimagine our engagement with children and youth.

Update! St. Elizabeth's Jubilee Center seeks an executive director (but now there's a $6,000 a year stipend!)
St. Elizabeth's Jubilee Center is a ministry of eight greater Portland Episcopal congregations that offers essentials to its neighbors every Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 in the undercroft of St. Luke's Cathedral.
The newly-formed Board of Directors seeks someone to take on the role of Executive Director, a position that will require about 15 hours a week. At its board meeting earlier this week, members approved a $500 per month stipend for the executive director post.

Join us for a weekend on beautiful Lake Megunticook, at Bishopswood near Camden, Maine. The annual retreat is an opportunity to step away from the busyness of everyday life and be refreshed.
This year, we'll use Celtic and Ignatian resources to help us connect with Christ in nature, scripture, community, and the depths of our hearts. We'll seek to deepen our awareness of Jesus and open ourselves in generosity and compassion. We'll also enjoy delicious home-cooked meals, the out-of-doors, campfires and the lake.

Summer Finale Camp at Bishopswood this August
The Episcopal Diocese of Maine and Camp Bishopswood invite you to join us for Summer Finale Camp, August 20-26.
We have two tracks - one for older youth and one for families, couples, and individuals. Youth completing grades 6-12 are invited to join the Youth Cabins for a week of typical camp activities - swimming, boating, running around in the woods - while at the same time deepening their spiritual lives.
Families, couples, and individuals are invited to unplug, relax, grow, play and enjoy life in God's creation.
We hope you will join us this summer!
