Your Weekly School Update
April 27, 2018
Looking forward to seeing many of you TONIGHT!
This week's adventures...
Our students and staff seemed to have returned to school rested, rejuvenated and ready to begin the final stretch of the 2107-2018 school year. The beautiful weather that we experienced at the onset of the week resulted in lots of time spent playing outdoors! Our students have very much enjoyed all of the new outdoor play toys and activities that they received as part of their Easter Celebration surprise. Students have been playing soccer, football, and whiffle ball. They have also been jumping rope, making chalk drawings and blowing bubbles.

There have been several inquiries regarding end of year dates for last days, celebrations and graduations.
Our eighth graders will be the first to start their summer, as their graduation is set to take place on Monday, June 4th at 7pm . Our youngest members are next, with their finale taking place on Monday, June 11th at 1pm . Miss G and Miss Cordeiro's classes will say farewell on Tuesday the 12th at 9am , and our kindergarteners will graduate on the 13th at 9am ! The remainder of our student body (grades 1-7) will persevere a little longer, ending their school year on Wednesday, June 20th , with 11:30am dismissal and no extended care.
Have a wonderful weekend and hope to see many of you tonight at the Adventure! God bless.
~Mrs. Russo

MAP Growth Testing Chosen as New Diocesan Standard Assessment

Starting in the 2018/19 school year MAP Growth Testing will replace the IOWA Assessment in the diocese. This change follows a recommendation made by a committee of principals and teachers who have spent the year reviewing assessment options. MAP Growth Testing will happen in October, January, and April.
