Sisters and Brothers

We have some interesting events coming your way. On Friday, you are invited to join your parish friends for a round of Putt-Putt Golf. On Sunday, we'll be blessing the food pantry garden on the north lawn. We'll process from the church, gather around the perimeter of the garden, offer prayers, sanctify the plot and bless the plants.

We have some other good news to share. As we announced last Sunday, we now have a babysitter to care for our youngsters. This service is now available to children between 1 and 6 years old. (We hope this will be an opportunity for us to begin growing our children and family outreach.) This Sunday we'll welcome Tracy Megli, who comes to us as an Aspirant for Holy Orders seeking discernment. And lastly, our Latino folks will begin a Latino Fellowship Group and will meet every other week at 6 PM.

With this kind of "life" and "energy" going on, it is an exciting time to be part of this wonderful parish!

Hermanas y hermanos

Tenemos algunos eventos interesantes en camino. El viernes, te invitamos a unirte a tus amigos de la parroquia para una ronda de Putt-Putt Golf. El domingo, bendeciremos el jardín de la despensa de alimentos en el jardín norte. Procesaremos desde la iglesia, nos reuniremos alrededor del perímetro del jardín, ofreceremos oraciones, santificaremos la trama y bendeciremos las plantas.

Tenemos algunas otras buenas noticias para compartir. Como anunciamos el domingo pasado, ahora tenemos una niñera para cuidar a nuestros jóvenes. Este servicio ahora está disponible para niños entre 1 y 6 años. (Esperamos que esta sea una oportunidad para que podamos comenzar a hacer crecer a nuestros hijos y alcance familiar.) Este domingo daremos la bienvenida a Tracy Megali, quien acude a nosotros como una aspirante a las Órdenes Sagradas que buscan el discernimiento. Y, por último, nuestros latinos comenzarán un Latino Fellowship Group y se reunirán cada dos semanas a las 6 PM.

¡Con este tipo de "vida" y "energía" sucediendo, es un momento emocionante para ser parte de esta maravillosa parroquia!

Welcome Tracy Megli

This Sunday, we'll welcome Tracy Megli with us. He comes to us after having completed a Master of Divinity degree at Phillips Theological Seminary and being approved for ordination in the United Church of Christ. Tracy senses that God is leading him to the Catholic tradition and so is discerning a call to ordained ministry. Tracy is a music teacher and recently served as the Choir Director at the Church of the Madalene. He is one of the founding members of Kyrie, a touring singing group. Welcome Tracy!

Este domingo, daremos la bienvenida a Tracy Megli con nosotros. Él viene a nosotros después de haber completado una Maestría en Divinidad en el Seminario Teológico de Phillips y ser aprobado para la ordenación en la Iglesia Unida de Cristo. Tracy siente que Dios lo está guiando a la tradición católica y también está discerniendo un llamado al ministerio ordenado.
