Hello Perdido Bay UMC Family,
 
The Perdido Bay United Methodist Church office and campus will be closed on Tuesday, September 15 due to Tropical Storm Sally. Regarding our Wednesday night Bible Study and program on Wednesday, September 16, we will be following the Escambia County School District. Please stay posted to our Facebook and email communications for further updates regarding our weekly programming and hours of operation. As always, our prayers are with those in the path of Sally and I encourage all of you to remain safe during the deteriorating weather conditions in our area.

Wednesday Evening Activities
Wednesdays at 6:00pm
Adults will gather in the gym for a study of Thessalonians. Nursery will be available upstairs in the Activites Center, Elementary Children will gather in the Banquet Room, and Youth will gather in the Sanctuary. We are so thrilled to be back together again for mid-week activities!

Two Women’s Bible Studies are starting again and you are invited!

On Mondays from 9 to 11 in the gym, the ladies Bible study will begin the new series: “Women of the Bible.” Though our culture is vastly different from the women of the Bible, we share their love of God. Because we also share many of their struggles their lives can touch our souls and mentor to our own lives as we mentor to others. As we slow down and soak in the scriptures, we will understand anew how God acts in surprising and wonderful ways to draw us to him. 

On Tuesdays from 9 to 11 AM, the Young Women’s Bible Study will meet upstairs in the activities center for a study entitled “No other Gods.” Join us as we draw near to Christ together, learning how to identify the things in life that we often unknowingly place as priority above Christ. A nursery is available by reservation. 

For both studies, You may bring coffee or a bottle of water to drink. Food will not be served at this time. Call the church office for more information.

Or Why not me? Times when we wonder: What is God’s will?  Join us in this sermon series each Sunday in September as we explore the scriptures for a greater understanding When God Doesn’t Make Sense.

Elementary
We hope to be able to see many of you on Wednesday Evenings at 6:00pm and also on Sundays at both 9:00am and 11:00am for Children's Worship.

Youth
Youth Sunday School takes place weekly on Sundays at 10:00am. Wednesday Evenings, youth will gather at 6:00pm. Both take place in the Sanctuary. Sign-up is not required.
