Peace, Love, and So Many Blessings to you in 2019!!!!
The way that we see ourselves, our world, and other people truly depends on what is within. Many determine who they are and their self-worth based on the opinions and perspectives of others. You can only change your reality by changing your own perspective about what your reality is. What I have learned is, it is imperative to teach people how to handle you. When we don't, other people create the boundaries for us, and it has the potential to deplete your energy and leave you feeling pretty bad and taken advantage of.
Principle #1: Know thyself:
This simply means knowing your innermost thoughts, beliefs, feelings, choices, and experiences. It also means knowing and connecting with your needs, feelings and physical sensations (whether it's pain, dis-ease, or tension). Without knowing your true self, you can’t really know own your limits and needs, i.e., your boundaries. This will also help you to more clearly define your needs when boundaries are crossed.
Take time to reflect on yourself. What do you know that you know about yourself? Is what you think about yourself truly who you are, or do you believe what someone else thought of you? Take some time today to get in touch with you. Here's to a brand new year, and a brand new you!!!!
If you are interested in more principles to set boundaries, please join us within the 2 Inspire Peace Group for a more interactive, intimate, and more personal forum for discussion.
Enjoy this week's issue! Namaste.
Enjoy this week's "Article of The Week" and please feel free to share any comments, questions, or revelations that it may evoke.
Quote for the Week:
"We can say what we need to say. We can gently, but assertively, speak our mind. We do not need to be judgmental, tactless, blaming or cruel when we speak our truths".

Peace and Welcome to 2019!
As the co-creator of your reality, you’ve got to believe it to see it – that’s why an “I am” statement is so important. If we put our attention to it, we’ll find that our society can be overflowing with negative energy. At the same time, when we direct our attention to the positive we will find that it too is overflowing and growing! It simply depends on the direction of our attention.
Your ultimate goal is to retrain your brain and subconscious, re-programming your mind to accept better, more positive beliefs. You have unlimited power and creativity – your inner spirit knows this. “I am” statements just affirm the truth of your nature. We are all truly powerful beings at heart. Remember that you are capable of doing anything – just try it!
Walk into 2019 believing your "I am". And I challenge you to do this meditation every day for the next 21 days and watch your life transform!

Use Aromatherapy for Healing
Aromatherapy can also have healing properties and may be used as supportive care for some of the symptoms of specific health-related conditions. Studies have shown symptoms that have resisted other treatments over long periods of time—such as headaches, pain, and insomnia—have a positive response to the use of aroma.
Studies performed by
NYU Langone Medical Center
concluded that when specific aromas were inhaled through the nose, the symptoms of the following health-related conditions subsided:
- Headaches subsided with the use of peppermint
- Menstrual pain subsided with abdominal massage using lavender, rose, and clary sage
- Respiratory infection subsided using a vapor run containing camphor, menthol, and eucalyptus oils
Studies performed by the
University of Maryland Medical Center
concluded that when specific aromas were inhaled through the nose, the symptoms of the following health-related conditions subsided:
- Anxiety, stress, and depression subsided with the use of lavender, rose, and frankincense
- Nausea subsided with the use of peppermint
- Pain subsided with the use of chamomile
Who knew that aromas had such healing qualities for both the mind and body? Your sense of smell can help you stay connected to your fondest memories and your most relaxing moments, and it can become the key to living a healthy, balanced lifestyle full of vitality and wellness. Try not to turn your nose up at the fact that your sense of smell may be one of your biggest healing tools. Now take a deep breath and stop to smell the essential oils
