Artist Biography:

Gloria Hardy Timmons has dabbled in acrylics, watercolors and oils off and on for years, not taking herself seriously until retirement from a counseling practice offered her the opportunity to focus on her burning desire to "see where this will take me." Growing up in Lake City, South Carolina, home to Artfields and spending summers at the coast, she has been inspired by local scenery, which "when you live and breathe it, you've just got to paint it!" She is a member of Seacoast Artists Guild of South Carolina, Oil Painters of America and Burroughs and Chapin Art Museum in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Her work can be found at The Gray Man Gallery in Pawleys Island, SC, Seacoast Artist Gallery at Market Common in Myrtle Beach, SC, The Elegant Bee in Lake City, SC and on her website at gloriatimmonspaintings.com. She recently held her first one woman art show in Lake City, SC and was the recipient of a ribbon in the Seacoast Artists Guild's Fall Show.
