Musician Information
- The sign-up dates to perform in the East Bank Cupid Challenge begin January 9th and end on February 8th at 11:59pm. No more than 15 bands will be allowed entry to the challenge.
- Admission for performing is free. All bands and musicians must fill out the information below providing their mandatory tax I.D. (or social), project title, genre, number of members, and contact information.
- All content performed must be original content. We will not allow any covers or rewrites of any other project’s music.
- All bands and artists must perform two original songs which must not exceed five minutes in length.
- The songs performed must not contain profane, racist, sexist, or any other form of offensive content.
- Failure to comply with our rules and regulations will result in the unplugging of your set and may affect future bookings in the East Bank District.
- Songs performed must be relevant to Valentine’s Day, but are not required to be pro-Valentine. The content may reflect the subjective thoughts and views on the holiday, so long as they are not offensive in content.
- Project members must be timely and present for sound checking and for their performance. This will be a fast-paced event.
- The winning project will receive a trophy, title of “East Bank Cupid of 2019”, and a $150 cash prize.
- Bands that make it into the lineup will be notified via email on the date of the announcement: February 9th.
- The most important rule: Have fun and create some memories with this challenge. Grow as a project and tap into something new if possible. We are rooting for all of you!
