It’s Thankful Thursday! This week's theme is about the necessity to heal.
As we navigate our journey through this lifetime, another reoccurring theme is evident, healing. Every being has experienced some type of trauma. I have found that the best way for me to heal is to cleanse first, meditate and make your intentions known, and face the trauma head on! Do not fall into becoming the victim, but look at the lesson learned in whatever the experience was. In most cases, we can also take ownership of the part that we played in many of our own experiences, but it takes so much courage to face this fact. If you aren't ready, I understand, but at least click on as many links as you can within this week's issue to find solutions to obtaining the healing you need to live in purpose. It's not a choice, it's a necessity.
Enjoy this week's "Article of The Week" and please feel free to share any comments, questions, or revelations that it may evoke.
“The wound is the place where the Light enters you.”

Yoga For All of Us

Join us every Thursday for Yoga for All of Us: An every-body-friendly practice. All levels welcome, village trained children too. A wonderful mind-body practice for the entire community.
Begin tapping into your overflow, so you're no longer giving from the depths of your well. Insomnia, stress, hypertension, passive aggression, passivity, aggression, metabolic dysfunction... all are effects of depth giving.
Don't put it off any longer. Come.
Bring a mat and water. Blocks and strap/strong belt optional. (I have a few mats for sale).

Ready to Meditate to Trust Your Intuition?
The intuitive voice is a powerful one, but it often needs a quiet, calm, reflective environment to find its way. Allow yourself to find some peace, go there when times are hard, and listen to what your heart and soul are telling you.
Your intuition wants to guide and support you. So allow it the space to be heard. Namaste!
You got this! Continue to spread love and Inspire Peace.
I pray that this meditation serves the intentions to which is was created to restore your faith in yourself, balance in your purpose, and a sense of peace and calmness about trusting your intuitions to allow it to aid you in overcoming obstacles and to enjoy what the future has in stored for you.

Use Aromatherapy for Healing
Aromatherapy can also have healing properties and may be used as supportive care for some of the symptoms of specific health-related conditions. Studies have shown symptoms that have resisted other treatments over long periods of time—such as headaches, pain, and insomnia—have a positive response to the use of aroma.
Studies performed by
NYU Langone Medical Center
concluded that when specific aromas were inhaled through the nose, the symptoms of the following health-related conditions subsided:
- Headaches subsided with the use of peppermint
- Menstrual pain subsided with abdominal massage using lavender, rose, and clary sage
- Respiratory infection subsided using a vapor run containing camphor, menthol, and eucalyptus oils
Studies performed by the
University of Maryland Medical Center
concluded that when specific aromas were inhaled through the nose, the symptoms of the following health-related conditions subsided:
- Anxiety, stress, and depression subsided with the use of lavender, rose, and frankincense
- Nausea subsided with the use of peppermint
- Pain subsided with the use of chamomile
Who knew that aromas had such healing qualities for both the mind and body? Your sense of smell can help you stay connected to your fondest memories and your most relaxing moments, and it can become the key to living a healthy, balanced lifestyle full of vitality and wellness. Try not to turn your nose up at the fact that your sense of smell may be one of your biggest healing tools. Now take a deep breath and stop to smell the essential oils
