Tuition rates for the 2019-20 school year were recently set by the Board of Directors.

Non-Association LCMS $7,750
Community $8,100
International Student $10,500

VLHS Benefit Dinner and Auction
Fabulous 50's is the theme for the 16th Annual VLHS Benefit Dinner Auction at the Apple Mountain Conference Center on
Saturday, Feb. 23. Tickets are available online at
vlhsauction.com. Don't delay as tickets have sold out in past years.

Booster Club Chicken Dinner This Sunday
The annual Booster Club Chicken Dinner will take place at Valley Lutheran this Sunday, Jan. 13 from 11am-1:30pm.
- $11 for 1/2 chicken
- $9 for 1/4 chicken
- Menu: Mashed potatoes, corn, rolls, homemade coleslaw, pie
- Take out available
Proceeds are used to fund Valley's extracurricular activities.

Parents in Prayer Next Meeting Jan. 14
Consider joining Parents in Prayer, a group of parents who gather to pray at Valley twice each month. The group meets at the school from 8-9:30am on the second and fourth Monday of each month. The next meeting is Monday, Jan. 14. The group prays for the needs of the students, faculty, and staff at Valley. If you have requests that you'd like the group to pray over, submit them via email to parentsinprayer@vlhs.com. If you have questions, contact Carla Belill at 989-295-3018.

Post Prom Fundraiser
A fundraiser is being held to support the post prom party for Valley Lutheran's 2019 dance. The fundraiser is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 28 at Buffalo Wild Wings on Tittibawasee Rd. in Saginaw.

Grandparents/Special Friends Day Coming in February
Grandparents and Special Friends love to visit Valley Lutheran, and our students love to share with them first hand what makes Valley so special. On Tuesday, Feb. 5 grandparents or special guests for all grades are welcome to tour the school, sit in on a class, attend chapel, and stay for lunch. The day begins at 9 a.m. For more information, call 989-790-1676.

Open House Feb. 19
Valley's annual Open House series begins
Tuesday, Feb. 19 from 5-6 pm. Faculty members will be on hand to show prospective families around the school, as well as to answer questions about VLHS. You don't need to make a reservation, just show up! Feel free to let friends and neighbors know about the opportunity to check out all VLHS has to offer.

Thank you to all churches and people associated in any way with our Fruit Sale Fundraiser. Our appreciation to all buyers, sellers, distributors and helpers for your cooperation & support.
Money raised will help support music, drama, athletics and many other activities at Valley Lutheran High School.
Through your support and the student body, we are fortunate and thankful to meet our goal! Total boxes sold for 2018 were 385 = 11,550 pounds. Wow!

We are looking for parents and community members who might be willing to talk with our students for a few hours on Career Day - April 5, 2019. 7TH SEMESTER or MID-YEAR TRANSCRIPTS
Transcripts that include your student's first semester of their senior year will be available once grades are released. Some colleges request these as an update on their applicants. VLHS uses a program called
Parchment to send documents electronically and securely directly from the school. Please submit all document requests through Parchment. To indicate that you want 7th semester documents sent, please select "Hold for Grades".
