National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day
The DEA's  National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day will occur this Saturday, April 28, 10am to 2pm.

This annual event aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. For a participating law enforcement site in Oakland County, click here:  

2017 KEY FINDINGS REPORT 

This report summarizes noteworthy findings regarding Oakland County middle and high school students drug and alcohol use, risks associated with use, and drug and alcohol perceptions from the most recent Michigan Profile for Healthy Youth (MIPHY) survey.

4th Annual Shatter The Stigma 5K

Join us for our 4th Annual Alliance of Coalitions for Healthy Communities/Oakland County Families Against Narcotics Shatter the Stigma run/walk event on June 2, 2018. All proceeds benefit our continuing efforts to educate communities throughout Oakland County on the opioid epidemic and how we can shatter the stigma of addiction. NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH
LOVE FOR A CHILD
The Alliance of Coalitions for Healthy Communities has joined forces with a local non-profit, Love for a Child, to increase efforts to address at-risk youth in foster care.

"By incorporating Love for a Child into our suite of prevention programming we will be able to further increase efforts to positively impact the kids we serve as we continually adapt to meet their needs to make a positive difference in their lives," said Julie Brenner, CEO of the Alliance.
