We provide a staffed nursery (birth to up to 3 years of age) and Sunday School (3-12 years of age) in conjunction with the main service. This allows you to fully engage in the worship service.
All children must be registered at the check-in desk located in the gym. Our Check-In desk opens at 9:05 am. For the safety of your children, please do not drop them off before that time. Once they are in the gym, they will not be allowed out of the gym until after the service (you will be contacted if there is an emergency). Also, Please don’t forget to pick your child up immediately after the service! We have many things happening in the gym once the service is over and we need to have your children picked up as soon as possible.

We have a children's youth group geared towards children ages 4 years old-6th grade. PowerHouse Kids is held the Second Saturday of Each Month from 9 am-Noon. We have a packed morning full of singing, games, experiments, cooking, and a special lesson. Lunch will be provided. We encourage you to bring your friends!

FUEL is a Christian youth group held every Thursday at the Youngsville Free Methodist Church and starts at 6:30pm. For any teen who likes to have some good clean fun, have fellowship with people just like you, and grow closer in their walk with
God.

Prayer Blanket Ministry
This group is for anyone who knows how to or wants to learn how to crochet. Our project is to make prayer blankets to give away using a Granny Square.
Prayer Blanket Ministry will be
meeting the
1st and 3rd Thursday
of each month at 6:30 pm.

An Invitation To Prayer
Prayer is available to you because we love and care about you, your family, and what you are going through. We encourage you to Trust in a God who also loves you and wants to care for you.
Are you carrying a burden, are you hurting physically or maybe emotionally?
Do you have a loved one or a friend who is in the middle of a struggle?
Join us in the Chapel on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:00 pm
and turn your pain and struggle over to God.
Stop in anytime to Pray on your own and enjoy the peace and quiet for a few minutes,
or if you would like someone to Pray with you, someone will be available to you.

New this Fall we started Home Groups - 5 Groups, 5 Locations, 5 Topics. These groups are held throughout the week at host homes. These groups will be breaking for a couple of weeks and starting back up after Thanksgiving. There are still a couple of spots available in our Thursday or Saturday class. If you are interested in finding out more about these groups, please contact the church office at

One of our favorite ways to help in the community is by providing a free meal on Wednesday evening at 5:00 pm. Volunteers of all ages help prepare, serve and clean up. We find that it’s a great way for the community to come together and socialize. People don’t get together and chat like they used to…and this helps us reclaim that experience.

Please make sure you check with the church office or check the website before planning any events! The calendar fills up fast with not only church events but weddings, birthday parties, etc. If we are unaware of your event, please do not assume the church will be available for your use.

In the New Year, you will be seeing some changes to your Weekly News. Instead of receiving a weekly newsletter, we will be changing to monthly. So you stay informed on our current events, we will be sending out a weekly events email (this will not include all of the information you receive currently).
*This will begin February 1st so if there is any information you would like included in the newsletter, please submit it to the office by January 31st. (Information will be added at the discretion of the office staff)

Volunteering is a wonderful way to get plugged into your church, feel like part of a community, and serve Jesus at the same time.
|
We open our doors once a week to serve a free meal to members of our community.
Our meals are planned, prepared and served by volunteers.
How can you help support this ministry? We are always looking for volunteers to help with meal prep, bringing in a dessert, serving a meal, taking a meal to a shut-in, and cleaning up after a meal. Other ways you can help......pray for this ministry, donate a food item to help stock the Cafe or $$ to help this ministry to thrive.
If you are looking for a meaningful way to give back to the community, this is a great opportunity!

We have many new families coming to our church and we are always looking for ways to make them feel welcome. One of the ways we can meet their needs is by providing a safe environment for their children during the worship service.
We are striving for excellence in our Children's Ministry. If you are 18 years of age or older and feel called to work with children, please consider volunteering your time and join our Children's Ministry staff. We currently have positions available in our Nursery, in Sunday School, and PowerHouse Kids. All positions are scheduled on a rotation schedule.
*If you are 18 and over you must have your clearances if working directly with children, this includes nursery workers. If you need assistance in obtaining your clearances please notify the church office at
office@ybfree.org and we would be glad to assist you.
There is no charge for Volunteers to obtain their clearances.

We are looking for a couple of people who would be willing to volunteer at the Welcome Center once a month. This would require you to be here at 9 am on your scheduled date. Please contact the office if you are interested. The first date we need to fill is January 27th.
