CLASSES FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS
Two Rivers Gallery
Have fun and release your creativity with classes like life drawing, 3D printed cookie cutter design, watercolour painting, and more!

Fall art classes for children (ages 5 to 14) start in October. Adult classes and workshops start at the end of September. For a full listing or classes and workshops, please visit the Two Rivers Gallery website.
FALL INTO FITNESS
Northern Sport Centre
Fall programs start September 14! Members have access to over 30 hours of free drop-in classes like Fit Camp, Tai Chi, and Yoga. Try something new; join an affordable registered program with limited participant numbers that ensures more instructor attention. Choose from The Greatest Loser, Active Aging, Group Meditation, and more.

Y Thrive provides you with the support to get started, the flexibility to do it on your own, results to stay motivated, and the opportunities to connect with others just like you. Y Thrive is included for free with your YMCA membership.
NEW HORIZONS BAND & MULTI-GENERATIONAL BEGINNER BAND
Alban Classical Artists Society
The Multi-Generational Band is a free program for beginners of all ages, mentored by members of the New Horizons Band. The New Horizons Band is $150 for a 12-week term and is a program for more advanced players.
SKATE BETTER, PLAY BETTER
Northern BC Centre for Skating
CanSkate (Learn to Skate) is designed for beginner skaters. Participate in a fun and energetic environment.

CanPower (Power Skating) is a high intensity program aimed to enhance skills for hockey or ringette players, focusing on balance, power, endurance, speed, and agility. Figure Skating is focused on fitness, artistry, flexibility, and strength in skating.
ADVENTURE, LEADERSHIP, AND COMMUNITY SERVICE
Rocky Mountain Rangers
Army Cadets is open to youth, ages 12-18, providing opportunities for adventure, leadership, and community service. Example activities include: field training exercises, biathlons, marksmanship, First Aid training, Remembrance Day services, and weekly parades and instruction.

Sign up on Parade Nights on Wednesdays from 6:15 - 9:00pm at the Connaught Youth Center (located at 1491 17 Avenue).
LEARN TO TRAIN, LEARN TO RACE
Prince George Ski Club
Nancy Greene programs introduce children to basic ski techniques and skills, basic safety rules, and teamwork. Develop skills and, most of all, have fun on skis!

Alpine programs are designed to give racers an opportunity to develop their racing and skiing skills and progress according to their ability.
SEA CADETS TRAINING
Navy League of Canada, Prince George Branch
The aim of the Cadet Program is to develop good citizenship and leadership, promote physical fitness, and stimulate the interest of youth in sea activities. The program is open to youth ages 9-11 or 12-18 years old and training runs from October 2020 to June 2021. Branch fee: $100 per cadet and $25 for additional family members.
SPORT FOR EVERY BODY
Northern Adapted Sports Association
Join adapted sports programming from wheelchair basketball to para ice hockey. Programs are open to everybody, even to participants who do not have a disability. Stay active, make friends, and have fun. You can join in on your own, with friends, or as a family. Talk to us to learn more.
DANCE FOR ALL AGES
Yalenka Ukrainian Dancers
Ukrainian dance instruction is open to ages 4 years to adult (no previous dance experience required). Yalenka Ukrainian Dancers has implemented COVID-19 protocols and will have a fun-filled dance year. Reasonable class fees. Costumes are provided with no additional costume fee. And you don't have to be Ukrainian, just have a love for dance!
TRY LAWN BOWLING
Prince George Lawn Bowling Club
Lawn bowling is an outdoor activity that appeals to diverse people of all ages. The PG Lawn Bowling Club meets four times a week at Watrous Park (located at 3rd Ave. and Watrous Street). Choose to attend one or more days: Tuesdays at 10am, Wednesdays at 7pm, Thursdays at 1pm, and Sundays at 2pm

Free lessons are provided. No pre-registration needed. Stop by for a game!

Prince George Figure Skating Club
Established in 1971, the Prince George Figure Skating Club (PGFSC) and its nationally certified professional coaches have been offering Skate Canada's acclaimed national skating programs to the City of Prince George residents for 49 years. With over 360 members, PGFSC offers skating programs for all ages and abilities. From beginners to competitive skaters, they have programs for everyone!
SPEED SKATING
Prince George Blizzard Speed Skating Club
The PG Blizzard Speed Skating Club welcomes skaters of all ages and abilities for both recreational and competitive skating. Join learn-to-skate programs for both children and adults in a fun and supportive environment. Short and long track speed skates can be rented at affordable rates through the club.
WEEKLY LESSONS - HART HIGHLANDS WINTER CLUB SKI HILL
Caledonia Adaptive SnowSports
The Caledonia Adaptive Snow Sports Society provides ski instruction to anyone who cannot be part of a regular ski lesson due to a cognitive or physical impairment of any type, or who needs a partner to assist to ski. CASS offers a few options to get out on the snow.
FALL 2020 PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH AND ADULTS
College Heights Community Association
The College Heights Community Association is hosting a variety of adult and youth programs, including arts & crafts, home alone safety training, quilting, and yoga. Online registration starts on September 21. Program details and registration information are available on the website.
RINGETTE IS AN EXCITING, UNIQUE WINTER ICE SPORT
Prince George Ringette Association
The Prince George Ringette Association welcomes girls and boys between the ages of 5 and 18, and adults ages 18+. The ringette season runs from September to March, beginning with two weeks of power skating (included in registration fees) and involving several options for tournaments and game play. New players are always welcome.
ST. JOHN AMBULANCE BABYSITTER COURSE (11+)
South Bowl Community Association
Help your child feel confident and safe while babysitting. This course provides basic First Aid and caregiving skills for youth. Participants learn how to provide care to children in a variety of age groups, and how to prevent and respond to emergencies.

Please bring pen, paper, & indoor shoes. Mask and gloves will be provided and are required to wear. Join us on October 19 and 20 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
AWARD-WINNING ADULT SPEAKER SERIES
The Exploration Place Science Centre & Museum
Watch a series of live adult speakers online, hosted by The Exploration Place. Join them live, starting at 7:00pm on Mondays. Speaker series dates: September 14, October 19, and November 9.
