TEACHER DEVELOPMENT & EVALUATION (TD&E) MID-YEAR REFLECTIONS
|
|
Specific deadlines have been determined by each school and/or department for the mid-year reflection package to be submitted through PDExpress. These dates are quickly approaching.
Plans and reflections should be designated as 'Approved/Not Approved' in PDExpress. Please make the appropriate designation according to the rubric for TD&E Written Reflections from the Standards Evaluation Tools (e.g., SET). The rubric can also be found in the TD&E Schoology group.
Plans and reflections that reflect Below Standards indicators should be 'Not Approved'. Plans and reflections that correlate to the Developing, Proficient, and Distinguished indicators should be Approved. Reflections should be processed by the administrative team within two weeks of the submission deadline.
Comments provide educators with guidance and support for reflection and growth. Whether Approved or Not Approved, comments should be shared with educators on the mid-year reflection package. Remember to save the comment before updating the status to Approved or Not Approved. The comment section is always at the end/bottom of the form. For this reason, clearly label your comment for the mid-year package so that your educator knows which component you are referring (IGDP, Student Engagement, Student Achievement).

TALENT DEVELOPMENT & ACCELERATION SERVICES (TDAS)
PORTFOLIO DEADLINE EXTENDED
|
|
The portfolio deadline for identifying advanced learners has been extended by an additional nine calendar days.
The portfolio window will now close at midnight on Sunday, Jan. 27
. This information is also posted on the TDAS portfolio website.
Please note: this will not affect the timeline for when families will receive the results of their portfolio review. Last year’s results were mailed Feb. 9. The review team will work to accelerate that timeline to ensure results are communicated in time for families to meet the School Choice application deadline, if they wish to pursue that process.
Please share this information with your teachers and others who may need to know.
