Success at WMU
Western Michigan University is excited to announce a new student success initiative for all incoming Fall 2018 students.
Success at WMU  is being created to ensure that all students, whether first-year or transfer, will be a part of a learning community led by a peer leader and assisted by faculty and staff throughout their entire first year.

The learning communities are intended to not only help welcome and orient our new students, but also to aid them in building skills and making the connections essential for success in college. Together the focus will be on social engagement, academic success, and a sense of belonging.

More information will be available at New Student Orientation in June. Students will meet their peer mentors at Fall Welcome in August.
Reminders for Current Students and Families
The residence halls close at 7 p.m on Friday, April 27. Students will receive information about moving out directly from their hall staff.

If you haven't filed your 2018-19 FAFSA, there is still time. Even though the Michigan priority deadline has passed, you may still be eligible to receive aid. Apply today.

Summer I and II financial aid applications and summer I and II Parent PLUS loan applications are now available on the Student Financial Aid website. S ummer I applications have been processed. Summer II applications will be processed in late spring.
