Applications are now being accepted for one of Oklahoma’s most prestigious leadership development programs – the 2019 OML Community Leadership Development class. Deadline for application is February 1, 2019.
As an employee or staff of an Oklahoma city or town, you are invited to be a part of this yearlong program, which is designed to equip participants with the skills and information you need to make a positive impact on your local community and economic development. Class members in the Community Leadership Development program learn valuable skills in the areas of teamwork, community assessment and planning, economic development and tourism, and community renewal.
There are six class sessions and each one is held in a different city or town throughout the year, hosted by one of our member cities/towns. This is a great opportunity to learn leadership skills, network with other municipal professionals and see what is happening in our other communities.
