We need your pictures!

We have so many blessings we want to celebrate during 5781 and we need your photos to help us honor you and your loved ones!

BABIES
We are blessing all of the new babies/grand-babies born to our community since last Rosh HaShanah during Rosh HaShanah morning services and we would love to include a picture of your child/grandchild in the service. Please send your photo in by September 15.

B'NOT /B'NAI MITZVAH
If your child was supposed to observe their b'not/b'nai mitzvah between March 2020 and December 2020, we have a special blessing for them during Rosh HaShanah morning services. Please send your photo in by September 15.

GRADUATES
We will offer a blessing to all of our high school, college, and beyond graduates during Yom Kippur morning services this year. Bonus points if the photo is of them in their graduation garb. Please send your photo in by September 25.

JEWISH ADJACENT MEMBERS AND LOVED ONES
Every year on Yom Kippur we have the opportunity to thank all of our incredible Jewish adjacent (non-Jewish, not-yet-Jewish, and those of other faith traditions) members and loved ones who support our congregation in ways big and small, who are critically involved in everything from committees, to participating in services, to supporting their children's religious education. We will, of course, again offer those members and loved ones a special blessing. As we cannot call you up to the bimah this year we are asking for you to send us a picture of that member or loved one for this blessing. Please send your photo in by September 25.

NEW MEMBERS
If you joined Temple Shalom between last Rosh HaShanah and this Rosh HaShanah, please send us a photo of your family for a Yom Kippur blessing so we can offer you a special welcome to the community. Please send your photo in by September 25.

NEWLY JEWISH MEMBERS
If you completed a conversion process between last Rosh HaShanah and this Yom Kippur, please send us your picture for a Yom Kippur blessing so we can celebrate this milestone! Please send your photo in by September 25.

WEDDINGS AND OTHER SMACHOT (HAPPY OCCASIONS)
If you got married between last Rosh HaShanah and this Yom Kippur, celebrated a significant anniversary or other simcha, or you had to postpone a wedding because of the pandemic, we want your picture for a Yom Kippur blessing! Please send your photo in by September 25.

FOR ALL PICTURES, please send it only of the baby, graduate, bat/bar mitzvah, newly Jewish member, wedding couple, Jewish adjacent individual, etc. This will help us tremendously with the quality of the slides. Please also include in the email the name of the individual/couple pictured as well as to which blessing the picture pertains. Please send your photos to Alyssa at zoom@templeshalom.net by the specified dates.
