This is my favourite installation of granite. It’s unusual to do a slab entry floor inset, AND book match it but my client is a stone specialist. Moony (I fondly call a stone maven) and I selected a gorgeous multicoloured specimen that became the inspiration for the colour scheme throughout. This is a difficult installation but had that stopped her, we never would have been able to create the wonderful impact that this entry creates on her guests.

This feature wall is a stacked limestone marble. The contrast brightens the space but maintains the west coast feel with its deep sandy texture. To further highlight the focal point, a cool white LED strip light grazes the wall.
The entire room is open to the rest of the living area, view of the ocean and mountains.
