Dine, Wine and Dance at JA World Uncorked

Food, drinks, and fabulous entertainment await 
you at the JA Circle of Wise Women  Signature Event,  JA World Uncorked , presented by Breakthru Beverage on January 19. Not only will you be able to enjoy some of South Florida's most divine cuisine and beverages, but you can dance the night away to our headliner act Hybrid, sponsored by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Also enjoy music by Emily Sheila Band, as well as mixes by DJ Smiley and DJ Cuenca.

City Furniture Makes Generous Pledge 

A moment of gratitude is in order for City Furniture, who recently pledged to donate a minimum of 5% of annual profits to several organizations in South Florida, including Junior Achievement of South Florida! Thank you for making our mission possible, City Furniture!


Make an Impact - Volunteer for our Classroom Programs

Our JA Classrooms Programs are in need of volunteers next week! You'll have the opportunity to get in front of students in a classroom setting to help them learn about financial literacy and entrepreneurship in JA More than Money. It is a rewarding opportunity you'll never forget!

The dates are Tuesday, January 15 at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Montesorri Academy, Thursday, January 17 at Robert Markham or Charles Drew Elementary School, and Friday, January 18 at Dillard Elementary School.

City of Coconut Creek Supports JA

Not only does the City of Coconut Creek support our programs through a JA BizTown storefront, but they additionally grant funds toward programs that teach entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial literacy skills. Junior Achievement of South Florida is proud to be partners with the City of Coconut Creek, the Butterfly Capital of the World and friend to JA in so many ways. Thank you!


New Year, New Opportunities

Kick off 2019 by embarking on a new career at Junior Achievement of South Florida! We're looking for two new staff members to join our team and help area high school students prepare for the workforce, as well as land summer employment opportunities.
