CLEAN CITIES UNIVERSITY WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AWARD

Southeast Florida Clean Cities was awarded a spot to bring in a student intern for the FALL 2017 semester.  This fall, CCUWDP is offering 38 workforce development program positions across the nation and applications are now available.  This is a wonderful opportunity for students looking to gain experience in the energy and transportation areas. We are looking for a student with strong marketing, PR, outreach, and communication skills and interest in alternative fuels, fleet project development, and clean transportation. 

ELECTRIFY AMERICA'S MIAMI METRO AREA KICKOFF: 

AUGUST 2 2017 MEETING

As announced back in April, Electrify America will invest $2 Billion over 10 years in Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) infrastructure and education programs in the US. This investment will be split in $1.2B going nationwide, (Except CA) and $800M to be invested in CA. The Miami- Fort Lauderdale- West Palm Beach MSA was selected in the first 30-month cycle of investment along with 10 more metro areas in the US and six in California, which will bring charging stations to workplaces, commercial areas, and near highways to South Florida. Check out their approach to their investment and participate on their search for suitable locations, local knowledge, and pro tips on expediting and maximizing their investment in the region.
