Final Sponsors Needed
Tails of the Painted Cats 2019
We just need 4 more sponsors to have all the cats for the 2019 Tails of the Painted Cats sponsored.  Sponsors' dollars cover the cost of molds for each cat, as well as paint and other materials for the artists.  A basic sponsorship is $450.  A  $600 sponsorship includes 2 tickets for the sponsor to the gala.  As a sponsor your name will be displayed by the cat at showings and at the gala.  You will also be invited to a Sneak Preview Champagne Reception on April 28th, 2019.  At that event you can meet the artists and see the finished creations!  For more information, or to become a sponsor and help us meet this goal, please contact Jane Dorsey at [email protected] or call 303-239-9680 x 16.

January Adoption Promotion

Kick start your New Year by adopting a cat from Cat Care Society!  We have many cats of all ages and personalities, and we still have a few kittens.  Having a pet in the family gives so many benefits, and you can do so much for a cat in need by adopting.

Please visit our Facebook page for more information about our adoption promotions.

Visit our website to view all our cats available for adoption.

Note: our standard adoption  screening process applies to this promotion. Further, for cats age ten and older and cats with chronic medical problems we offer our Perpet-U-Care Program which provides
$250 of veterinary care services at the CCS Cat Clinic annually.
Opt to Adopt Lauren
Lauren was dumped in the patio of
the White House at CCS in July of 2018.  We   don't know who left her there, as they did not leave a note or any belongings. She did have a microchip that was registered. However, we left several messages for the person on file, and no one ever responded.  Lauren is healthy, a little over 2 years old, and is already spayed. She has always been a friendly girl with people, but she isn't terribly fond of other cats. Therefore, she tends to do better when she is in a room or area without other cats.  Lauren is a terrific kitty, ready for a home of her own where she can be the only cat with her humans.

You can read more about Lauren on her Petango profile:
Yoga with Cats
January 27, 2019

Start the new year right with a healthy and restorative Yoga With The Cats class at Cat Care Society.  The yoga session will be held Sunday, January 27, from 4PM to 5Pm in the main hallway of the shelter.  Water, music, and very friendly and limber cats will join you in your practice.  Please bring your own mat.  The class will be led by a certified yoga instructor.  The fee is $20, and all of that benefits the cats.  Please register soon by contacting Suellen Scott at [email protected], or call 303-239-9680 x 9.  Space is limited.

Adoption News
We had a record 77 adoptions in December.  How joyous to have all those cats find loving, forever homes!

Some were special for various reasons:  Pookie and Cloud were paired kidney care seniors;  Gizmo, Chloe, and Mallory were all a bit on the cranky side, but are now cuddlebugs in their new homes; Oslo and Tomatillo, FIV cats, also were adopted.

Congratulations to all these wonderful kitties and their new families!
